Shoulder Pain
Is your shoulder pain keeping you up at night? Or noticed that getting dressed feels like an effort? Whether your shoulder pain has come on suddenly or has been creeping up on you over time, Physiotherapy can help.
How services can help
First of all we get to know you – we ask lots of questions! We want to know how your symptoms are affecting you, what you have tried, what has helped and what your goals are.
We complete a thorough assessment of the shoulder and the body system as a whole. The shoulder is a complex joint. However that doesn’t mean that we make our rehab complicated! We work with you to put together a rehab programme that fits in with you and your lifestyle.
Our aim is to reduce your pain and ultimately give you a long term solution. This is always an evidence based, effective treatment that gets you working towards your goals.
How to book
We always recommend you speak with your GP about any symptoms you are experiencing. However, you do not need a referral to see us. Simply get in touch or click the link below to book your first consultation.
Excellent physiotherapist, I felt so confident that Mel knew the resolution to my neck pain and she fixed it. I now also take her pilates classes. I’ve been practising pilates for almost 10 years and I have never experienced a better teacher who ensures it’s safe while also allowing you to achieve the level you feel comfortable at. Thank you.

I’ve been working with Mel for chronic lower back pain. The initial assessment was really insightful, she was able to identify the causes and provided me with exercises that provided relief and helped to build strength straight away. I’ve done a lot of yoga and Pilates in the past but working 1 on 1 has helped bring a new level of awareness of my body and starting to undo the habits causing my pain. Mel’s great to work with, really approachable and a great motivator. I would highly recommend her!

Mel’s Pilates class is the highlight of my week. It has really helped to reduce my lower back problems and my core strength has definitely improved. The classes are friendly and fun, as well as progressive, so you can always push yourself harder if you want to. They’re suitable for all abilities, and everyone is made to feel welcome. Would highly recommend.

Mel has been treating me since the birth of my second child. I started seeing her 6 weeks post partum for pelvic floor issues. Mel has been fantastic at listening to me and tailoring my treatment to my goals. I would definitely recommend seeing Mel during pregnancy and post partum. I feel so much more confident and stronger thanks to Mel.

Wanted some exercise’s to strengthen my back as well and Mel took the time to work through them with me, she was so thorough and patient also very knowledgeable. Mel was recommended to me and I can see why

I have been seeing Mel for both physio and pilates. She has helped me to get back to running postnatally, and with a much stronger body than before. She has a realistic view of motherhood and the challenges that come with it, so will meet you where you are with understanding and a positive attitude. I highly recommend.
