How services can help

During the transitional stages of peri and post menopause, hormonal changes lead to a reduction in oestrogen levels. Symptoms such as incontinence, prolapse, sexual dysfunction, pelvic floor muscle atrophy, vulvar tissue sensitivity and more, can become apparent or worsen during this time.

When you come to us, to start by getting to know you and understanding your experiences. We want to know how your symptoms are affecting your life, what you have tried and what your goals are. We’ll ask questions about your pelvic health, and look at your bigger health picture as well.

After this we look at how your body is working and work with you to put together a unique treatment programme and strategy to help optimise your system.

It is important to mention that we don’t just look at your pelvic floor. We look at you as a whole person.
